Francis Merlyn Doody is a highly skilled hand poke tattoo artist and jewellery designer originally from Wales but now based in London. With eight years of experience in tattooing, Francis has honed his craft both as an artist and tattooer and is currently working at Sang Bleu Tattoo London. He creates his unique work traditionally and by hand, using a needle tied to a chopstick, making each intricate design dot by single dot. Francis specializes in sacred geometry, and with meticulous attention to detail, he begins his work by drawing each design by hand with a pencil, ruler and compass on paper before transferring it onto the skin.

Francis's passion for craftsmanship began at a young age when he learned drawing techniques from his father, a keen wildlife artist and naturalist and blacksmithing alongside his mother. This love for the arts and for working with his hands has influenced him to transfer his skills into jewellery making, where he creates stunning pieces that combine traditional techniques with modern design.
